   Marcy Blum is on the top of the A1 list of wedding and event planners in the U.S. today. Her partial list of clients includes the Rockerfeller family, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, Dan Lufkin, Carl Icahan, the author Tom Clancy, Salman Rushdie and Padma Laskhma, Billy Joel and Kathy Lee, and JJ Philbin and Michael Schur.

Marcy is frequently quoted as a wedding/event expert in publications including In Style, New York Times, Town and Country, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal, as well as in magazines such as Brides, Modern Bride, and Special Events. Marcy has appeared on such shows as Good Morning America, The Ricki Lake Show, Dateline NBC, Good Day New York, The Today Show, ABC World News Tonight, Live! With Regis and Kelly, Oprah. Most recently she appeared as a judge on the wedding episode of the highly rated reality television show Top Chef. Marcy often collaborates and has called upon such  wedding gurus as Preston Bailey, Silvia Wienstock and Stone Kelly to create  some of the most spectacular weddings and events ever witnessed.

Marcy’s first book, Weddings for Dummies, co-authored with Lauren Fisher Kaiser was published in 1999. Selling over 200,000 copies, it is now in its second printing. Marcy has been a Contributing Editor for Modern Bride Magazine, and currently serves on their advisory board. She has also written pieces for publications including In Style Weddings, and Town & Country.
